sneak peak.

okay, two posts in one day...in twenty minutes....makes up for a long neglect. anyway, here is a sneak peak of my wedding dress! i absolutely LOVE it!

love like ours.

noone has a love like ours. i like to think that, anyway. only 79 days left of being engaged. which sucks. did i mention that? still sucks. totally sucks.

being engaged sucks.

no really, it does. you think it's going to be all happy and all about you and your fiance, but let me rain on your parade for a second...
IT'S. NOT. ABOUT. YOU. okay, that's a slight exaggeration, but only slight. because my parents are paying for this wedding, it's "their" wedding. this is what i've decided...as long as josh and i are married by the end of the day, i don't really care what happens.
the wedding has turned into an extremely formal dinner which has cut down our list to about 300. if you think that's alot, you have no idea. let's just say................i want to be married...............NOW. no, yesterday.

on the other hand, and in better news, i am looking to buy a baby bulldog. yes, yes i am. we am going to name her dolly, and if it's a boy, we're going to name him tobey.

here's a video:
MY BABY GIRL!!!

anyway, stop being jealous, and start feeling bad for me because being engaged is the WORST!!

a long time coming...

Here's how "it" all happened. Not that it! Geeze.

November 17, 2011: the first day I noticed Josh (as in; holy cow, how did i let HIM slip through the cracks?!!), and the first day he got up the courage to talk to me. It was at the PFA (fitness test for Air Force) which takes place in the west stadium parking lot of lavell edwards stadium. Josh and I run there on a regular basis.

August 9, 2012: Josh picks me up in the morning upon returning from my trip to England. I was COMPLETELY jet-lagged, and even more tired from a long day of work. I had mentioned to Josh that I wanted to go on a run because I need to get back in shape for Air Force. It was about 10 pm, which was really 5 am for me, and Josh reminded me that we needed to run. I told him that I was too tired and we could go in the morning. He insisted and I complained, but only a little.

Anyway, we got to the stadium parking lot and he parked next to the exact spot where we first "met". As I was waiting for him to put his running shoes on, I laid down on the pavement. When he was finished, he picked me up and we walked to the start line. He had his shirt and keys sitting on top of a garbage can under the only light post in the parking lot. I told him to move that stuff into the car or at least out of the light so nobody would steal it. He shrugged it off and said it would be fine and started walking away. I followed him thinking nothing of it except that it was disgusting that he left his stuff on the garbage can. We ran together until we reached the last stretch of our first lap. He looked over to me and told me that he was going to do something, but I couldn't really hear him because I was listening to music. I watched him sprint away from me and thankfully he started to move his things to another spot OFF the garbage can.

I finally got over to where he was and was messing with my music when he came over and gave me a hug. He asked me, "Baby, do you love me?" and I said, "Yes, i do!", "How much?" "More than anything!".....THEN......he backed up and got on one knee. I gasped and covered my eyes because I couldn't believe it was really happening. I peeked through my hands and saw him on one knee with that adorable huge smile on his face. He then said, "This is where it all started, and this is where I want it to all start again!". I kept saying things like, "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! IS THIS A JOKE?! OH MY GOSH, OH MY GOSH, OH MY GOSH!!!!!", and he then he said, "Will you marry me?". I was having a little heart attack....five times in a row.....so I physically could not say anything but, "OH MY GOSH!!!!!".
.He stood up and sort of hugged me and said, "Baby, are you going to say yes?!" and then I immediately said "Yes!". He said, "Can I put the ring on?! Look at it!" and I told him I couldn't even look at it because I was still having a slight....okay, major....freakout! haha Anyway, he said, "I'm putting this on your finger!!!!!!!" so he grabbed my hand and put it on my finger so sweetly! We then stood in the parking lot and yelled out, "I'M ENGAGED!!".

Well, you get the idea. happily ever after, yadda yadda yadda. Just kidding. I really am so excited and can't wait to marry Josh! Pictures to come!
